Nolan has been a Paycom New Client Setup specialist since February 2017. Recently, I reached out and asked him to share his story.
Describe what you do.
I am a New Client Setup specialist. We assist new Paycom clients with setting up the system, guide them through their first payroll and then send them to long-term care within our organization.
What advice would you give a new employee for being successful at Paycom?
Stay organized, stay focused and have fun! Paycom is a fun and exciting place to work. There is a special type of energy within the company, from top to bottom.
What’s the one word you would choose to describe Paycom, and why?
Winning. Our goal is to be the best! I am a competitive person, so Paycom is a perfect fit for me.
What is your greatest accomplishment at Paycom?
In August, I was recognized as the top revenue specialist throughout the entire New Client Setup department. It was an incredible honor!
What makes you proud to work at Paycom?
I love the growth, the energy and the atmosphere. It’s a great company to work for! There’s plenty of advancement for employees. It creates a positive attitude, which creates great success throughout the company! Employees are always striving to be better because of that growth potential. If you want to develop yourself and do great things for a company, Paycom is the place for you!
Where has been your favorite place to travel, and why?
Colorado. I love to snow ski!
Who would play you in a movie about your life? Why?
Sean Boswell – several teammates have told me we are the exact same person.
If you could pick anyone in the world to have lunch with, who would it be and why?
My wife! That’s why I married her!
