Free, on-campus Zumba and boot camp fitness classes, employee parties and low-cost catered lunches are just some of the perks for employees of Oklahoma City-based Paycom.

Paycom has teamed with News Channel 4, The Salvation Army and Rotary Club of South Oklahoma City to host HoliDazzle, a free event at Remington Park on Thursday to kick-off the annual Warmth 4 Winter coat drive.

There are several research firms and employee review websites that publish lists of the best places for people to work. The latest of these is from Glassdoor, the jobs and career online community. Glassdoor calls the results of its survey the “Employees’ Choice Awards.” Its primary list is the “50 Best Places to Work.” In order to compete for a place on this list, a company must employ more than 1,000 people.

Paycom, a nationally recognized payroll and human capital management technology company, continues to expand its operations with plans to add an $11.8 million fully-equipped building adjacent to its current headquarters in Oklahoma City. The new building is expected to house approximately 700 additional employees.

Payroll services provider Paycom plans to build a $10.8 million building on its corporate campus in northwest Oklahoma City and hire another 667 employees over the next five years.

The University of Central Oklahoma Alumni Association will recognize recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award and Central Family of the Year during an alumni recognition ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Nigh University Center.
