Paycom donated $10,000 to benefit The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma Area Command’s Buck$ 4 Bikes campaign today at the Boathouse District’s Pump Track.
“For the past several years, Paycom has been fortunate to help The Salvation Army reach and exceed their campaign goals, and this was another noble cause worthy of our support,” said Paycom’s chief operating officer, Stacey Pezold.
In addition to the financial contribution, Paycom was able to donate brand-new bicycles to six deserving children, ages 2 to 16 years old.
Founded in 2006, the Buck$ 4 Bikes campaign raises funds to provide bikes to every child who asks for one during the holiday season. Every penny donated goes toward the purchase of new Huffy bicycles. Paycom’s contribution will help The Salvation Army in reaching its 2016 goal of 1,275 bikes.
Oklahoma City-based Paycom is proud to support its community through many philanthropic efforts. In April, Paycom’s President’s Club Gives program collected $47,670 to support the Ronald McDonald House in Orange County, Calif. This contribution came after Paycom made a record-breaking contribution of $65,000 to The Salvation Army for its annual Red Kettle campaign.
