Paycom’s donation makes The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma’s 2012 goals possible.
Paycom donated $31,937 to The Salvation Army Friday, as part of its continuing effort to give back to the community and help those less fortunate during the holidays.
Paycom’s donation to The Salvation Army, who was $64,000 shy of matching last year’s total, leaves the organization within reach of their 2012 goal.
Paycom employees took part in a raffle benefiting The Salvation Army. Paycom’s senior management unveiled the total amount, which included corporate match of $1.50 for every $1 raised, at an afternoon raffle drawing featuring employees and representatives from The Salvation Army. Paycom’s gift was the largest employee and company combined donation The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma has received this year.
“Our employees have my heartfelt gratitude for the generosity and kindness they displayed throughout this campaign,” Paycom Founder and CEO Chad Richison said. “The fundraising done by our employees was nothing short of amazing and Paycom’s donation will go a long way in helping make many people’s holiday seasons a little brighter throughout the community.”
In addition to Paycom’s generous contribution to The Salvation Army, employees also helped make Christmas possible for 67 Oklahoma children through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Paycom employees provided assistance by supplying gifts and monetary contributions to families with children ranging from 0-14 years of age across the state.
This year alone, Paycom has been active in community outreach by providing support for Infant Crisis Services, Oklahoma Regional Food Bank, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Anna’s House, Backpacks for Kids drive and the Children’s Advocacy Center for Dallas.
