(NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $30,000 to Canine Companions of Irving, Texas. “Canine Companions greatly appreciates Paycom employees and their generous donation that directly enables us to continue our mission and provide enhanced independence to the people we serve,” said Laura Manning, director of philanthropy at Canine Companions.”
The funding will help provide ongoing support for the training and care of service dogs to prepare them to make a life-changing impact in the lives of clients.
“Before having a service dog, life was a challenge,” shares a recent recipient of a Canine Companion service dog. Canine Companions placed the client with one of its young service dogs named Farley. “I was arranging activities around other’s schedules so I could have help and assurance. Now, I really do not evaluate my inabilities as limits. I think of them as opportunities for Farley. Farley knows exactly what to do, and he enjoys his job.”
The donation is made possible by Paycom’s employee giving program, which allows employees to donate to sustainable programs that ensure basic needs are met and encourage a brighter future for all.
