OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 10, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented a $33,000 check to Honoring America’s Warriors, which will help provide service dogs for veterans needing assistance.
“It’s a privilege to be able to give back to those who have given so much,” said Jon Evans, chief operating officer at Paycom. “As someone who grew up in a military town, I am proud of Paycom’s partnership with an organization that works hard to provide tools and resources to help veterans and their families.”
Honoring America’s Warriors provides service dogs and training for disabled veterans who cope with anxiety or depression that could lead to suicide. The organization also has an Honor Guard composed of disabled veterans who provide military honors, flag ceremonies and dedications. In addition to these programs, Honoring America’s Warriors hosts events that allow these men and women to connect with other veterans who are dealing with the same issues in a peer-to-peer environment. These activities include family and couples gatherings, outdoor events and adaptive sports for veterans who are paralyzed or amputees.
“The generous support from our community partners at Paycom will enable us to provide more service dogs for disabled veterans who need assistance,” said General Rita Aragon USAF (Ret.), board president at Honoring America’s Warriors.
Along with arranging activities and events for veterans, Honoring America’s Warriors also assists with veteran home repairs, employment opportunities and other resources.
The donation comes as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
