OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 6, 2020) — Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented the Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command with a check for $85,000, the largest amount the Oklahoma City-based nonprofit has received as part of its annual Red Kettle Campaign.
To raise the funds, Paycom employees donated through the Paycom mobile app or in person at the company’s December luncheon. Each employee-donated dollar was matched with a corporate gift of $1.50. Paycom’s total donation surpassed its 2018 Red Kettle campaign gift by $5,000.
“One of our company values at Paycom is service, and our team members continue to show their commitment by giving back to the community through volunteer events and fundraisers like the Kettle Campaign,” said Jennifer Kraszewski, Paycom’s vice president of human resources. “We are so honored to be a part of the tremendous work the Salvation Army does in our state and across the country.”
The annual year-end contribution from Paycom and its employees helps the local chapter of the Salvation Army assist Oklahomans in need, both during the holiday season and beyond.
“We are so thankful to Paycom and its employees for the wonderful gift toward our Red Kettle campaign,” said Traci Jinkens, the Salvation Army’s director of development. “It is a company that believes in helping out neighbors in need of a hand up, and that is just what we will be doing with the funds received: helping those in our community who need emergency shelter, a warm meal, groceries from the pantry, utility assistance to prevent homelessness, and after-school programming for youth.
Paycom and its employees have a proud history of supporting the Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command, having donated more than $510,000 over the past nine years. In November, Paycom hosted its seventh annual Holidazzle community coat drive as part of KFOR’s Warmth 4 Winter campaign, which also benefits the area nonprofit.
