OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 28, 2022) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented Oklahoma Contemporary with a $15,000 donation to provide free art experiences for Oklahoma families at Second Saturday Family Days. This monthly, communitywide event includes hands-on art projects, art education and other programming at the new 4.6-acre campus.
“Oklahoma Contemporary is grateful to our friends at Paycom for their leading support of culture in our community,” said Jeremiah Matthew Davis, director of Oklahoma Contemporary. “Second Saturdays are at the heart of our free youth and family programming, providing hundreds of visitors an opportunity each month to experience and create contemporary art. Paycom’s support helps make life-changing experiences possible.”
Paycom’s donation to Oklahoma Contemporary will help assist in purchasing art supplies, providing unique programming and ensuring the event is free for all participants. Second Saturdays are expected to serve thousands of families, and visitors of all ages, over the next year.
“Art is such an important part of Oklahoma’s cultural landscape, and Oklahoma Contemporary provides excellent opportunities for families to engage with, explore and experience art firsthand,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Paycom is grateful to play a part in making art more accessible for families in our community.”
Visitors can cater their experiences based on their own schedules and interests. These events are accessible and feature art talks, gallery adventures and “make and take” art stations inspired by the current in-house exhibits.
