OKLAHOMA CITY – Paycom, a leading provider of comprehensive cloud-based technology for human capital management, received special recognition for its philanthropic efforts at The Journal Record’s seventh-annual Beacon Awards on Thursday, July 10 at The Skirvin Hotel.
“We believe it is our responsibility as a company to give back to the community that supports us,” said Stacey Pezold, Paycom Executive Vice President of Operations. “We are honored to be recognized as this award is a great reminder of the impact Paycom has on its community. We are grateful to be able to share our successes with those in need.”
The Beacon Awards are designed to recognize and honor businesses that offer vital support to nonprofit organizations throughout Oklahoma. Paycom makes charitable contributions to numerous organizations in its local community and was nominated by Anna’s House, who provides support for families caring for children in foster care, and Freeze Your Face Off, an inaugural event designed to bring awareness to mental health issues in Oklahoma.
Twenty seven entities received Beacon Awards for their contributions to the nonprofit community. Organizations were recognized in large, medium and small divisions for their contributions to the nonprofit community in two categories – charitable influence and philanthropic impact.
“These companies not only provide generous financial support, they have also developed cultures of volunteerism within their organizations that have a far-reaching impact on the communities where they operate,” said Mary Mélon, President and Publisher of The Journal Record.
